Congratulations to our 2023 SSgt Jason A. Rogers Memorial Foundation Scholarship recipient, Kinsey Nicholson. Kinsey is a senior at Northwest Rankin High School where she was the JROTC Battalion Commander. She will be attending Mississippi State University majoring in Biological Engineering.

2022 Awardee

Congratulations to the 2022 SSgt Jason A. Rogers Memorial Foundation essay winners. This year we are fortunate to award 1st Place to Jya Van daughter of Cory Mitchell. Jya plans to major in Criminal Justice and attend Xavier University of Louisaina. Second Place winner is Macie Wright who plans to attend Mississippi College and major in Nursing.

Gregory “Jay” Fleming III

Jay is an exceptional graduate of Brandon High School, where he not only excelled academically but also demonstrated remarkable leadership and dedication in the JROTC Program. He consistently received stellar marks and glowing commendations from his peers and educators, who were privileged to teach and mentor him.

Gregory’s commitment to service is already evident through his membership in the United States Army National Guard. His hard work and dedication have earned him a coveted appointment to the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point, where he will undoubtedly continue to shine as a future leader.
